Michael LeVesque is the president of Vitamin Express, Inc. He opened the store in November of 1981, with twelve shelves and a small selection of exceptional nutrients. The mail order division originally started as a service for customers who moved out of the Bay Area. Today it serves customers nationwide as well as internationally. Teresa Manquen, the manager of the San Francisco store, has been with Vitamin Express since 1988. She is especially interested in Bach Flower remedies, herbs, elixirs, and children's nutrition.
Yvonne Whitehead, manager of the San Francisco store on Fillmore, has had a strong interest in nutritional therapies for many years. With a prior career as a licensed cosmetologist, Yvonne has a deep passion for helping people look and feel their best, and she extends this to her current position at Vitamin Express. Her desire is to help educate and inform the public about available natural alternatives, especially in the areas of joint health, natural anti-inflammatory supplements, and immune-boosting nutrient therapies. Sarah Burke Richmond manages the Mill Valley store and oversees the accounting operations for the company. In addition to her business background, Sarah has worked as an early childhood educator, and she has been a continuing student of nutrition, physiology, and biopsychology for many years. She has a particular interest in brain nutrients, women's health, herbal medicine and exercise nutrition.
