Jarrow FORMULAS® Resveratrol 100™ contains 100mg of resveratrols (3,4,5-trihydroxystilbenes) and resveratrolglucosides (piceids) extracted from Huzhang (“tiger cane”) root. Polygonum extracts have a history of usage in traditional eastern medicine as cardiotonics.
As an antioxidant, resveratrol may protect cardiovascularfunction by inhibiting LDL oxidation, upregulating nitricoxide synthesis, and protecting the integrity of capillaries.
Resveratrol has also been studied for its ability to activatePhase 2 detoxification enzymes, and to maintain healthycell replication.
Other Ingredients:
Cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide. Capsule consists of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
